We are currently accepting resumes from applicants, outside of Mitchell County, for outside sales agents for travel sales . We are also looking for representatives in southeastern Alabama and Tallahassee, Florida area. Agents will operate as self-employed travel professionals selling cruises, tours, land and rail packages, international airfare, vacation packages with or without air along with various other travel related services. Qualified applicants must have a strong history of travel related experience, preferably as a retail travel agent, and be well versed in all types of retail travel products, services and group operations. Qualified agents will have protected territories in their residential area and must have a broad outreach within their local communities to generate travel sales. Outreach should include, but are not limited to contacts with local civic groups, churches, schools, community groups and should have high visibility in their community. Agents in the SW Georgia area must travel to the Mitchell County for sales meetings on a monthly to a quarterly basis. Agents will be issued a 1099 tax document each year and are responsible for withholding taxes.

Agents will be compensated via commissions splits and are eligible for any earned travel promotions offered by travel suppliers for meeting travel sales goals. Agents will also be eligible for a CLIA membership for an annual fee collected by CLIA.
